Visiting Intercampus Transfer (ICT) Instructions
For students from other Indiana University campuses who plan to take courses temporarily at IU Indianapolis.
IU Indianapolis students wishing to take courses at another IU campus should contact that campus’s admissions or graduate office.
Eligibility
To qualify as a visiting ICT student, you must:
- Be enrolled in a graduate or professional program at another IU campus
- Be in good academic standing (minimum 3.0 GPA; 2.3 for Law)
- Have not attended IU Indianapolis as an ICT student for more than two consecutive terms.
Note: ICT students are classified as non-degree and are not eligible for financial aid. For questions, contact Financial Aid (iuindy.finaid@iu.edu).
How to Apply as an ICT
New or Returning After 24 Months
- Visit the How to Apply page
- Select a term and click Apply Now
- Log in or create an account
- Choose the “Visiting Intercampus Transfer” application for the appropriate term
- Complete and submit all sections No application fee required
Returning ICT Students
- Less than 2 semesters since last enrollment:
- Complete the Graduate/Professional Program Update Form
- More than 24 months since last enrollment:
- Reapply through the How to Apply page and follow the instructions above
