John is the Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives in the College of Arts and Sciences at Georgia State University. In this role, he oversees the implementation of the College to Career efforts within the College as well as community and industry engagement. Previously, he was at the University of Kansas, where he provided key leadership in graduate education.
Patrick is a Graduate Strategy CRM Business Analyst for the Office of Enrollment Strategy and Insights (ESI) within the Division of Enrollment Management. He's a graduate of IUPUI and has been working with IUPUI Admissions for over six years. Patrick started working with undergraduate student experience before transitioning into graduate student recruitment in March of this year. He is passionate about using data-driven solutions and integrating qualitative results to drive enrollment goals.
Jen is a CRM Communications and Operations Analyst for the Office of Enrollment Strategy and Insights (ESI) within the Division of Enrollment Management. She’s a graduate of IUPUI and has a passion for sharing all that IUPUI and Indy has to offer. Jen has been at IUPUI for over 15 years within Undergraduate Admissions, recently managing their frontline team, but in March transitioned to her new role within graduate recruitment. She is eager to help develop graduate recruitment strategies and best practices by leveraging the CRM. She married her husband, Eric, almost one year ago this July so has been enjoying her time as a newlywed.
Cara is one of IUPUI’s Social Media Specialists. She recently celebrated her 1-year work anniversary at IU Studios. Prior to working in higher education, Cara spent most of her career in the insurance industry, where she handled the marketing and communications for a local property adjusting insurance firm. She has also spent time working in business development and customer service for Travelers Insurance. Cara is an Indianapolis native and attended Indiana University-Bloomington, where she graduated from the Kelley School of Business with a concentration in Marketing. In her spare time, she enjoys creating content for her beauty and lifestyle blog, attending women’s empowerment events, enjoying brunch with friends and family, and spoiling her 8-month-old puppy, Mello.
Sara is a Social Media Specialist for IU Studios. She’s been with IUPUI for nearly 10 years in a variety of communication and outreach roles. Sara has BA degrees in English and theatre from Franklin College and a MA in Philanthropic Studies from the IU Lilly School of Philanthropy. She’s passionate about the intersection of nonprofit and business, and loves helping represent the IUPUI brand to our virtual community via the social media platforms.
Tabitha is the assistant vice chancellor for graduate education and assistant dean for student development and academic affairs within the University Graduate School and IUPUI Graduate Office. She also holds a faculty appointment as a lecturer in the department of Biology at IUPUI. Dr. Hardy is the youngest of ten children and the first in her family to attain a college degree. Dr. Hardy has successfully navigated academia as a first-generation minority female in STEM at both minority and majority serving institutions. Hardy received her BS in Biology Education from Alcorn State University; her Master's in Biology from Jackson State University and earned her Ph.D. from Indiana University School of Medicine in Microbiology and Immunology. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she studied breast cancer health disparities and epigenetics, she held an appointment as an assistant professor of Biology at Stillman College, a historically black college in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Hardy has a wealth of teaching and research experience and has also received numerous internal and external grants to fund her research and various projects.
Britney supports the PhD admissions process, organizes various recruitment, admission, and retention activities, and manages the Summer Undergraduate Research Program at Indiana University School of Medicine Graduate Division.
Aaron has been working within higher education/enrollment services for 10+ years. He has experience advising a wide range of students, including but not limited to: first-year undergraduates, transfers, adult, and graduate students. Prior to IUPUI, he was employed within the College of Graduate and Professional Studies at his alma mater, Indiana State University.
Katina is the Graduate Admissions and Fellowship Coordinator for the IUPUI Graduate Office. Katina’s responsibilities include managing Purdue graduate applications. She also works with the Assistant Director to administer the nomination process for all IUPUI graduate and professional student fellowships and awards, and provides administrative support to the IUPUI Graduate Fellowship Subcommittee. Katina has been with the IUPUI Graduate Office since December 2018.
Catherine is the Director of Academic Partnerships at ETS. In this role, she works with institutions to support their goals and strategic priorities. Catherine has been in higher ed for over 30 years working and collaborating with various stakeholders across the institution.
Brandy currently leads all aspects of the graduate recruitment and admissions counseling for the Indiana University School of Medicine Graduate Division and has been in the unit for 15 years. She manages a team responsible for retaining and preparing graduate students from diverse backgrounds for academic, professional and personal success. Additionally, she serves as an advisor to first-year doctoral students and provides holistic services related to academic and career advising to all graduate students beyond their first-year in graduate school thru alumni status.
