I chose IUPUI because of the resources and support that it supplies.

What has been your favorite academic accomplishment since you’ve been here?

My favorite academic accomplishment was getting my overall G.P.A to a 3.3!

Please provide some details about your work/research as a graduate student and/or any activities you are involved in.

My lab focus is on studying the characteristic of dopamine neurodegeneration as a causality of Parkinson’s disease in C. elegans. During the 2017-2018 school year I will serve as the President of UPnGO (Underrepresented Professional and Graduate Student Organization) and University Emissary as I fulfill my privileged obligation as a President’s Diversity Initiative (PDI) fellow.
